Gas furnaces are the backbone of heating in this region and they fail in predictable ways. Ignition and flame sensing problems, failed inducer motors, cracked heat exchangers, clogged condensate traps on high-efficiency units, and pressure switch faults account for most of what we see. Diagnosis is usually quick.
A cracked heat exchanger is the one that matters most. It is a combustion safety issue, not a comfort issue, and it is the one finding where we will recommend shutting a system down rather than patching it. We show you what we found and explain why.
