Duct problems masquerade as equipment problems. A room that never gets comfortable, a system that runs constantly, high bills on newer equipment — these are frequently airflow issues, not capacity issues. Leakage in the 20 to 30 percent range is common in older homes, which means a meaningful share of the air you paid to condition never reaches a room.

We test rather than guess. Static pressure readings and a leakage test tell us where the losses are, and sealing the accessible joints and boots is usually a fraction of the cost of the equipment upgrade somebody else would sell you.
